Looking back now I plainly see,
Wondrous things you've done for me.
When childhood memories come to mind,
You're the hero that I always find.
You were there through all my days,
Loving me in so many ways.
Your strong hands with a gentle touch,
Through the years taught me so much.
You guided me and watched me grow,
Then one day you let me go.
You knew then you'd done your part,
That I'd carry you in my heart.
Thank you Dad for all the years,
For all the laughter and the tears.
God gave you a heart of gold,
He gave me your love to hold.

our angels

Angels walk among us all,
There to catch us before we fall.
Through acts of kindness all around,
Their love waits to be found.
Gently wiping our tears away,
As we face another day.
Angels hold on to our hands
When no one else understands.
God sent Angels for everyone,
To guide us ‘til our work is done.
They turn struggle into glory,
Taking away all the worry.
Faith helps us to believe,
The love that we receive.
God sent his Angels
To take away our troubles!xx

My dad just passed recently with cancer. I too know how hard it is to loose a great father.

Always remember that he is in your hearts and will remain there forever and he is looking down on u all.

Angel on my Shoulder

There's an angel on my shoulder,
Though I've never heard him sing,
I know he keeps me safe each day
And close beneath his wing.
My angel does not
play a harp or rest
in clouds all day.
he's much too busy
Guarding me,
Keeping me from
Harm's way.
he rejoices in
My life's success
And weeps when
I'm in pain.
he picks me up
When I have failed
And helps me try again.
